Bio

Eungtaek Lee has built extensive expertise in the field of intellectual property
(IP), including patent and trademark prosecution and litigation. He has broad
experience handling patent matters across a wide range of mechanical and
electrical technologies, including home appliances, automotive components,
medical devices, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes,
robotics, construction, software, UI/UX, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

He worked for seven years as a patent attorney(KR) at Kim & Chang, the most prestigious law firm in South Korea, where he specialized in IP matters,
including patents, designs, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. In collaboration with U.S. law firms, he managed a substantial volume of U.S.
patent filings.

Mr. Lee has handled various aspects of U.S. IP practice, including drafting
U.S. patent specifications, responding to Office Actions from the United States
Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), patent infringement analysis, licensing
agreements, and freedom-to-operate analyses. In Korea, he has represented
clients in post-grant proceedings such as patent correction and invalidation
trials, as well as in patent infringement and invalidity litigations before the
Patent Court and the Supreme Court.

Before entering the legal profession, Mr. Lee worked as an architectural engineer at Samsung C&T Corporation, where he developed strong technical
capabilities. His engineering background gives him a unique advantage in
bridging the gap between legal and technical issues by enabling him to
understand complex technologies accurately and intuitively.
